Description
A small unspoilt corner immersed in nature where you can still take a dip into the past among small vegetable gardens, fruit trees now almost extinct in spontaneous form, and endless terracing. Like so many of Elba's towns, the casine were built along slopes that were once completely cultivated with vines on artificial terraces constructed by skilled farmers who tried to make the most of the sun's exposure by creating vertical plants and, in order not to stray far from the cultivations, they built the small houses, we could say seasonal houses on the farms. With time, the vineyards have become lush forests and the casine, picturesque little houses still partly inhabited by the descendants of the old farmers who amateurishly continue to keep the traditions alive and part holiday homes in tranquillity.
Each house here is a terrace overlooking the sea, including the "casina alle casine" consisting of a detached house on two separate levels with separate entrances and consisting of a flat on the ground floor divided into a living room with kitchenette, two bedrooms and bathroom as well as an outdoor patio, while on the basement floor there are two windowed rooms and a bathroom as well as a storage room.
Private terraced garden and parking area.
